Welcome to Week 11 of Connected Learning!
In math, we will be moving on to unit conversions. This week in addition to your daily assignments, I have also posted an optional enrichment project "Can you save the circus?". This assignment is for people looking for an extra math challenge. Feel free to give it a try! In science, you will be creating an Alien Passport so that your buddy can travel safely throughout the universe with you. We will have an alien zoom celebration on Thursday at 1:00. I hope to see you there! Reminder: Don't forget to start plugging away on your Passion Project Presentation. Passion Projects are due June 3rd. Fix-It Friday: The more you take your time on your assignments and do your best work in the beginning of the week, the less you'll have to fix later on. You may also fix as you go, so you don't have as much to do on Friday. That's correct, Pluto has achieved dwarf planet status and is no longer considered a planet! Don't forget to take your time and be thoughtful in your answers for the planet research project in science. This is your opportunity to shine and show me what you learned! Great job with the long division with decimals assignments. The extra practice is really paying off. Today you have a math game day, so enjoy the break! Don't be a stranger!
